A Creative Director for the Next Generation
A case study showing how I act take on the Creative Director role and guide student projects into impactful, real-world creative solutions. We will look at the senior capstone class for the visual emphasis and some of their projects. You will also my process and how I’ve helped hundreds of students succeed after college.
Saving the Company in 3 Months
When I joined BYU-Idaho’s iCOMM, the organization was struggling with a negative net income, operational inefficiencies, and misaligned leadership. Leveraging my expertise in business administration, creative direction, and financial management, I implemented a structured strategy to restore profitability.
Logo & Branding for a Clothing Startup
As the Executive Creative Director at Soapbox Agency, I oversaw the creation of a brand identity for Tall Mama Clothing Company, a startup specializing in maternity wear designed for tall women. Tasked with delivering a polished logo and comprehensive branding system within a two-week timeframe, I managed the project from inception to completion. This included conducting client consultations, securing agreements, steering the creative process, and finalizing key assets like the logo, style guide, and brand presentation.
Working with Brand Partners at Cabela’s
During my time at Cabela’s, I worked with more than 60 brand partners, combining creative design with an intuitive user experience to enhance engagement and drive results. I optimized high-traffic pages and created marketing materials, ultimately improving user interaction, strengthening brand connections, and increasing conversion metrics.
Redesigning the Cabela’s Home Page
Cabela’s made a strategic priority to enhance its digital presence, allocating a substantial portion of its budget toward digital marketing and advertising. This shift initiated an in-depth evaluation of the website’s performance, with a focus on improving customer engagement and optimizing user experiences across digital touch points.
Creating a Brand to Help
Our team partnered with Sahbu, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering Liberian children through education, to build a cohesive brand identity and digital presence. Over six months, we developed a range of assets, including brand guidelines, a redesigned website, social media content, and impactful photography captured on-site in Liberia.
